The Greensboro TEACCH Center serves individuals with autism in the piedmont region of North Carolina. Services include diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning and implementation, education, consultation, supported employment assistance, training opportunities and research.
Directions to the Greensboro TEACCH Center
If you are "west" of Guilford County
Take I-40 East
From I-40, exit to Wendover East, which is the second Wendover off-ramp.
Make a right turn.
Continue East on Wendover Avenue to Market Street turnoff.
Make a right turn.
Stay In left lane on Market Street (several miles),
until you get to Church Street and make a left turn.
Stay on Church Street
for 1 block, turn left onto Friendly Avenue.
Continue in the right lane until
you get to the second gravel parking lot.
You will turn right into that lot.
Walk up the hill and cross over Davie Street intersection and our building
(The Self-Help Center) is next to the Davie Street Public Parking Deck.
We are located In Suite 920 (9th floor) of the Self-Help Center.
Coming from I-85 South
From I-85 South, exit on 220 North, when you reach the city the name will change
to Freeman Mill Road, then Edgeworth Street to Market Street.
Turn right on
Market Street until you get to Church Street, then make a left turn on Church
Street.
Go 1 block, turn left onto Friendly Avenue.
Continue In the right lane until
you get to the second gravel parking lot. You will turn right into that lot.
Walk up the hill and cross over Davie Street intersection and our building
(The Self-Help Center) is next to the Davie Street Public Parking Deck.
We are located In Suite 920 (9th floor) of the Self-Help Center.
If you are "east" of Guilford County
Take I-40/85 West
From I-40/85 take Lee Street (exit 128), going right (several miles) to
North Murrow Blvd.
Turn right onto North Murrow Blvd.
Take North Murrow Blvd. to
Friendly Avenue and turn left.
Continue In the right lane until you get to
the second gravel parking lot.
You will turn right into that lot.
Walk up the hill and cross over Davie Street intersection and our building
(The Self-Help Center) is next to the Davie Street Public Parking Deck.
We are located In Suite 920 (9th floor) of the Self-Help Center.
Coming from 29 North
Take the exit for Market Street and turn right.
When Market Street becomes a one-way street, get into the far right lane.
You are now on Friendly Avenue. Stay In the right lane and when you cross Church Street, turn right into the second graveled parking lot.
Walk up the hill and cross over Davie Street intersection and our building (The Self-Help Center) is next to the Davie Street Public Parking Deck.
We are located In Suite 920 (9th floor) of the Self-Help Center.
NOTE: Market St., Davie St., and Friendly Ave. are ALL ONE-WAY STREETS.
