TEACCH Certification Policies and Procedures

The TEACCH program has a long history of developing intervention strategies and training models which share those strategies with trainees including professionals and parents.  Although we understand that our trainees share information with their colleagues, TEACCH is the “sole provider” of TEACCH training and of training in “Structured Teaching”.  We do not authorize any individuals outside our organization to offer skill development training in our methods without our written permission.    We reserve the descriptive phrases ---TEACCH Training or training in Structured Teaching----for the trainings we offer.

 

TEACCH offers Certification to select colleagues who work closely and collaboratively with our program. Colleagues who have been invited to participate in our certification program are recognized as “TEACCH Certified”.  By acknowledging the people publically here, we identify them as professionals with knowledge and skill in TEACCH methods and philosophy.
