Supported Employment

The TEACCH® Supported Employment program currently serves adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Supported Employment Program helps individuals with ASD to become as independent as possible by assisting them in obtaining and maintaining meaningful and stable employment in predictable and rewarding work environments. Since its inception in 1989, this program has used a variety of job support models to assist more than 500 people with ASD to secure gainful employment and to become productive members in their communities.     Project SEARCH ASD-Augmentation Package (AP)

    Project SEARCH is a one-year transition program which provides training and education leading to employment for individuals with disabilities. The program occurs on-site at a business where students participate in 20-25 hour a week internship experiences along with 1.5 hours of employability skill work with the support of a teacher and job coach staff.    READ MORE
