Clinical Director/Psychologist – Raleigh TEACCH

The new Raleigh TEACCH Center will provide autism diagnostic services for families in the Eastern half of North Carolina. Responsibilities of the TEACCH Clinical Director involve clinical and administrative management duties including training and supervision of a clinical team composed of psychologists and master’s level clinicians. In addition to administrative duties, Clinical Directors maintain a diagnostic and treatment caseload, provide consultation and deliver training programs locally, nationally and internationally. In keeping with the overall mission of TEACCH, the Clinical Director also participates in research or the development of innovative care models in addition to clinical activities. This position is open beginning September 1, 2017 and recruitment is ongoing until filled.

Minimum requirements for this position include previous clinical training and experience in assessment and treatment of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, completion of an APA-accredited PhD/PsyD in clinical, school or related doctoral program, and completion of an APA-accredited internship. Candidates must be licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in the state of North Carolina. Salary will be commensurate with rank and experience.

Clinical Assistant Professor – Staff Psychologist: TEACCH Autism Program– Department of Psychiatry, University of North Carolina

These are new positions in a new TEACCH Center opening in Raleigh, North Carolina. Responsibilities include a diagnostic and treatment caseload, community consultation, and delivery of local, national, and international training programs. Clinical supervision may also be expected. In keeping with the overall mission of TEACCH, the psychologists will also participate in research or the development of innovative care models in addition to clinical and training activities.
